Hear David F. Walker discuss his new book, Black Film: A History of Black Representation and Participation in the Movies! It is an engaging celebration of Black actors, films, and filmmakers, as well as an exploration of the social forces that informed the art and were transformed by it.

Walker is the Eisner Award-winning writer of The Black Panther Party: A Graphic Novel History, and co-creator of the Eisner Award-winning series Bitter Root.

There will be a Q&A portion, and books will be available for purchase and signing.
