To present the Gospel of Jesus Christ in a simple, straightforward manner. For this reason, K-LIGHT incorporates a balance of contemporary music, relevant Bible teaching, and community affairs to establish K-LIGHT as a credible media source to listeners.
To unite Christian believers. With this principle in mind, K-LIGHT does not focus on doctrinal points that divide various churches and denominations. Issues such as speaking in tongues, methods of baptism, or day of worship, for example are left to personal interpretation. Instead K-LIGHT Radio emphasizes the 90% of scripture upon which evangelical Christians agree.
To encourage believers and non-believers alike in the basic elements of the Judeo-Christian faith and to promote positive wholesome Biblical family values.

Meet the General Manager and Morning Show Host
Rick’s been in radio since 1981 and most of that time has been spent right here in the Bay Area. He wears many hats, including General Manager and host of the Morning Show. Rick’s interests outside of broadcasting include his family, worship, and golf. He and his wife, Nanette, have three children; Rick, Holly, and Kyla, and nine grandchildren.
