BANDON – Southern Coos Hospital & Health Center announces its clinical and non-clinical Employees of the Month for August 2024. Employees of the Month are nominated by their peers and voted on via an anonymous poll. Awardees receive points on the hospital’s AwardCo platform, which they can redeem for merchandise or gift cards, and also receive a designated parking spot for the month.

Non-Clinical:

JOSH FOLEY

Dietary Cook/Aide, Dietary Department

“I’m nominating Josh Foley because of his drive to do great at his job,” stated his nomination. Josh has had the world on his shoulders over the past few days and he still wants to be present and do his job. He is always in a good mood regardless of what is going on in his personal life and is always looking out for his coworkers.

“Josh came to my department with determination to learn everything he can, while going to school full-time. I couldn’t have asked for a better co-worker and a better worker in our department.

“I also feel Josn deserves to be Employee of the Month because of the determination he shows every day. He cares for the patients and the staff and strives to do his best all the time.

“We are lucky to have Josh in our department. He definitely goes by the Hospital’s motto ‘Healthcare with a personal touch.’ When Josh finishes school and moves on to his next big adventure, he will be nearly impossible to replace. He is our family,” the nomination concluded.

Clinical:

KRISTIN CLAUSON

CNA II, Med-Surg Department

“Kristin is one of the finest CNA’s I have ever worked with,” stated her nomination. “She is a hard-working, compassionate, and friendly teammate.

“Kristin does a superb job taking care of our patients. She shows up to work with a great attitude and is a pleasure to work with. She has a beautiful smile, is easy to get along with, and the patients love her.

“She deserves this honor,” concluded the nomination.
