🚨Coos Bay Man Arrested for Domestic Assault and Strangulation on Sierra Road🚨  
  
On April 15, 2025, at approximately 09:54 AM, Deputy Z. Smith responded to a domestic disturbance call at a residence on Sierra Road, Coos Bay, following reports of a female being assaulted. Upon arrival, Deputy Smith found the involved parties separated and initiated an investigation.  
  
The investigation revealed that a domestic violence incident had occurred, during which the suspect, Jason Patterson (24), physically assaulted the victim and restricted her breathing. Deputy Smith arrested Patterson at the scene and transported him to the Coos County Jail.  
  
Patterson was booked into the Coos County Jail on charges of Domestic Assault in the Fourth Degree, Menacing, Interfering with a Report, and Felony Strangulation.
