Hello Music Lovers! What does the story of our planet sound like?

Composer Adam Schoenberg set out to answer that question with *Losing Earth* — a percussion concerto inspired by Nathaniel Rich's book on the science of climate change. Commissioned by the San Francisco Symphony, it's a piece that explores the full arc of human life on earth, and ends — remarkably — on a note of hope.

This July 25, the Oregon Coast Music Festival presents the Oregon Coast premiere of *Losing Earth*, with percussionist Terry Longshore as soloist.

Saturday, July 25 · 7 pm · Marshfield High School Auditorium

Tickets $30 / $25 members

Free preview: Friday, July 24 at noon · SWOCC Umpqua Hall 109
