The Walk for Recovery brought over 500 people out for a two-mile walk in support of addiction recovery in downtown Portland on Saturday, Sept. 28, 2024. People gathered in Pioneer Courthouse Square before and after the walk.

As marchers from Portland’s 500-person-strong Walk for Recovery streamed into Pioneer Courthouse Square Saturday morning, hoisting signs declaring, “End the addiction crisis now,” community members greeted them with a cheer.
