Rotary District 5110 Peace Poem

In the valleys and hills of District 5110,
Where the Willamette whispers and the Cascades stand tall,
There’s a circle of hands joined in service and peace,
From Ashland to Eugene, they answer the call.
In Grants Pass and Medford, in the heart of the Rogue,
They gather with kindness, with projects that shine.
From Corvallis to Bend, in the rain or the fog,
They build little bridges of hope, one step at a time.
In Newport, in Florence, by the ocean’s embrace,
In Redmond and Albany, where new friendships grow,
From Cottage Grove’s warmth to Klamath Falls’ grace,
And over the Siskiyou Mountains to Montague’s glow.
And there in Port Orford, where the sea meets the shore,
They stand for the promise that peace can increase.
In this coastal small haven, they champion the cause,
A beacon of Rotary, all about peace.
So here’s to these towns and the Rotarians’ quest,
In District 5110, with each caring deed,
They weave a tapestry of service and goodwill,
Turning many small actions into one peaceful creed.
