On Saturday at 9:01 a.m. the National Weather Service issued a dense fog advisory in effect until 11 a.m. for Lower Columbia Basin of Oregon.
"Visibility less than one half mile in dense fog," comments the weather service. "Patchy dense freezing fog can also be expected. Be prepared for black ice on the roadways."
