Help us bring back our k9 program!

The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office is working on restarting our canine (K9) program after the retirement of K9 Ghost in 2025. Patrol K9s are highly trained partners that help track suspects, locate evidence, and protect responders during high-risk situations. All of this helps keep our community safe.

Bringing a new K9 into service is a significant investment. Estimated costs include:
- $12,000–$15,000 for acquisition
- $2,000–$5,000 for specialized training
- $1,000–$2,000 for a custom ballistic vest
Plus ongoing care, housing, and medical expenses

Your donation directly supports this program and helps us put a new K9 back on duty for Lincoln County!
