Two crystal champagne glasses chill in a bucket of ice with a bottle of champagne

You’re invited to support TWO local Rotary clubs at once for an evening full of surprises, entertainment, small plates of delicious food, a silent auction, and more. Costumes are welcome!

The Rotary Clubs of Emerald Valley and Eugene Metropolitan are uniting on November 15, 2024, for a celebration and fundraiser of Rotary’s World of Imagination!

Following the global pandemic of 2020, Rotary is rebuilding its fundraising and grant-making capabilities and building new momentum with a new generation of members. This year’s headline fundraising event will be held at the Unitarian Universalist Church at 1685 W 13th Ave in Eugene, OR.

Golden Tickets will entitle bearers to enjoy an evening full of surprises.

We are currently seeking corporate and individual sponsors, as well as donors to the silent auction for this memorable event and an important opportunity to contribute both locally and globally to a better world. Sponsors will benefit from social media and e-mail publicity amplified throughout Southwestern Oregon through Rotary’s network of 40+ clubs and hundreds of active members from Ashland and Albany to Coos Bay and Eugene/Springfield, as well as on-site recognition with the over 150 paying attendees to the event that we expect. Item donors will benefit from visibility with paying attendees. Regardless of your contribution, you will be supporting local and global humanitarian projects that benefit those in need through carefully selected project applications filtered through our 501(c)3 organizations.

Locally, our Rotary Clubs and foundations underwrite efforts to reduce and prevent homelessness, provide safe spaces for youth and adults with housing insecurity, and help local students to get off the streets and complete high school. We support Nightingale Homeless Shelters, Cornerstone Community Housing, Volunteers in Medicine, Food for Lane County, St. Vincent de Paul, 15th Night, Hosea Youth Services, through direct service, donations, food delivery, supplies, and equipment. We also provide scholarships for high school youth to participate in exchange programs abroad and in local leadership development programs.

Internationally, we support communities in Africa, Latin America, and Asia.  In Uganda, we provide medicine, equipment, birthing kits, and other supplies to a medical team, and support a water well project. In multiple rural communities in Kenya, club members have participated in building projects to make water available to isolated villages; an abattoir so farmers can safely process livestock while protecting local waterways; education projects including building schools and planting school gardens to provide nourishment to students and their families; and work facilities for women to pursue small business opportunities. In Nepal, we support rural economic development and expand opportunities for women by participating in projects providing hybrid chickens and goats to isolated villages. In India, we support a school with school supplies and classroom furniture. In Colima, Mexico, we support Project Amigo – a comprehensive scholarship program for Mexican elementary, high school, and college students. They combat generational poverty by turning dreams into careers. Graduates are IT specialists, graphic designers, teachers, architects, business leaders, lawyers, doctors, and government officials, among other professions.

How can YOU help us do more good in the world?
