Police said they located multiple packages hidden behind the radio console of Cristian Martinez's blue BMW that were wrapped in duct tape and contained compressed bricks of powdered fentanyl. In total, they seized about 2.2 pounds of the drug found in the car, according to federal prosecutors.Cristian Martinez, 21, of Gladstone, has been charged with possessing with intent to distribute fentanyl and possessing a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime. He was stopped driving north on I-5 from California on Thursday, and a fentanyl press and multiple firearms were found in the Clackamas County apartment where he was living, according to a federal affidavit.The 20-ton press found in Cristian Martinez's Gladstone apartment, on left, and other small bags containing suspected white fentanyl powder, according to a federal affidavit.Police seized 10 guns and one .22-caliber rifle from the Gladstone apartment where Cristian Martinez, 21, was living, according to federal prosecutors.

A 21-year-old man accused of dealing fentanyl that led to a drug overdose in Clackamas County appeared in federal court Monday afternoon.
