Description
The Portland Winterhawks give up a one-goal lead three times, but they survive 22 minutes of Tri-City Americans dominance to avoid giving it up for the fourth time, and they pull out a 4-3 win. It’s their 6th straight win, and it jumps them over Tri-City into 3rd place in the Western Hockey League’s US Division and 4th place in the Western Conference. They sweep the weekend home-and-home series.
