Description
His leaving Oregon State is still a sore spot for many OSU football fans, but now they might feel a little justice for Jonathan Smith who was fired Sunday, as head football coach at Michigan State. Smith was 9-15 in his two-years with the Spartans, 4-14 in the Big 10 Conference. However, Michigan State lost eight of their last nine-games this season to finish 4-8. But leaving Michigan State could be a windfall for Smith, he is due $30 million according to the buyout terms of his seven-year contract. At OSU, his alma mater, Smith went 34-35 over six-seasons.
